With Wigginton not playing this week-end Dunnington took full advantage and restored their seven point lead at the top of the York Minster  Engineering Premier League though Grasshoppers have now two games in hand on leaders Dunnington. .  

Dunnington had little difficulty in extending their unbeaten run to 18 games as they hammered Nestle 5-0 with goals from  Tom Mathews, John Andrew,  Josh Tattersall and a Tom Richards brace. York RI  chalked up their fourth  away win on the bounce as they defeated Copmanthorpe. Twice Cop lead through Matty Pallister and Chris Story but RI hit top gear in the second half to turn a 2-1 deficit into a 4-2 victory, Mark Woodward struck twice for RI to add to goals from Lee Powell and Craig Atkinson. RI achieved the double over Cop last season. Despite taking an early lead through Simon Webster Easingwold conceded another five goals at home as they lost 5-2 to Dringhouses.  Liam Stilgoe levelled for Houses and before the break led through Javier Shepherd and Elliot Frodsham. Steve Aconley reduced the arrears shortly after the interval but Shepherd netted his second of the afternoon before Elliot Shepherd completed the nap hand for Dringhouses.  Poppleton took the honours In the bottom of the table clash with Hamilton Panthers despite missing an early penalty. Jon Beech hit the first of his two goals to put Pop in front before Neil Hartley equalised but Pop then took control leading 4-1 at the break and eventually winning 6-2 to end of run of 12 games without a win. Matty Walters hit Panthers second goal and the Pop tally was completed with goals from Joe Dale (2) and brothers Richard and Nick Moss.

All three games in Division One saw convincing wins for the visiting sides, League leaders Aviva extended their unbeaten away run to 9 games as they beat Haxby 5-1. The Insurance side scored four times in the opening half through Lee Downham (2) Tom Shirley, (with his customary chip) and Neil Richardson before Adam Humpheries added their fifth late in the game. Dale Waddington replied for Haxby with a penalty. Malton & Norton suffered their first defeat in 20 games as they lost 4-1 at home to second in the table St Clements with all the goals in the first half including a Dale Lumley hat-trick, Chris Rowan completed the Saints scoring with Marcus Godsell replying for the Ryedale side.  Hemingbrough registered their first win at Total Sports (formerly Post Office) since February 2008 as they deservedly won 5-0, leading by an Andy Davis goal at the interval they then ran riot in the second period and increased their lead  with goals from Guy May (2) Tom Collins and another Davis  effort.  

In the only Division Two fixture, Thorpe came from a goal down at home to Heslington to win 4-3 with Glen Littlewood hitting a hat-trick for the hosts. Daniel Hewitt added Thorpe’s fourth goal.

Only goal difference separates the top three sides in Division Three but F1 Racing just top the League table following their 5-3 home win over Rufforth. Two goals from George Trifan and one each from Neil Yeowart and Ben Storey saw the hosts comfortably leading 4-0 at the break but Rufforth mounted a comeback in the second half courtesy of a Phil Jones hat-trick but to no avail as Dan Cooper added another for the home side. Bishop Wilton trailed to a Richard Dwight penalty at Ouseburn but second half goals from Darren Woodhead and Tom Knowles earned them a 2-1 victory and joint leadership of the Division  with F1 Racing and Barmby Moor

Leigh Dutton hit four goals as York Acorn beat Huntington FC 6-4 and chalk up their fifth win on the bounce to move two points clear at the top of Division Four. Connor Larne, scoring for the fourth game on the trot, and Chris Ellerker completed the Acorn goals with Aaron Rose (2) Shane Bogg and Steve Dervine replying for Huntington. The lead changed hands three times at Wheldrake as the hosts held Tadcaster Town to a 4-4 draw and end the visitors 100% record. On target for Wheldrake were Sam Tree, Niall Kirby (2) and Jason McCloud, it was Wheldrake first draw in 16 matches. Two second half goals from Sam Hill keeps his LNER Builders side in the leading pack as they won 2-1 at Selby Town, Callum Rowe-Dixon converted a penalty for the home side.  Melbourne ended a four match winless run in style as they thrashed Moor Lane 7-2 with four of their goals from Kieran Hartnell, the rout  was completed with a Jake Winspear brace and one from Paul Hunter while John Langley and Ben Overton shared the Moor Lane reply.         

Wigginton continue to dominate Reserve A at this early stage of the season, their 3-0 home win over neighbours Haxby sees their lead pushed to 10 points though they have played more games than all the other teams.  Their 13th  home game without defeat was earned with goals from Eddie Clapham and a Kev Butler double.  Dunnington made it 3 wins from 3 with a 2-0 win at Dringhouses, a venue that they have not lost at since January 2006. Old Malton staged their first home game of the season and cruised to a 7-1 win over York RI, the visitors had no answer to the finishing prowess of Rob Pinder who hit four of their goals.  John Newton and Darren Dunning both came of the bench to score and the scoring was completed by Dean Clarkson.

The top two sides in Reserve B both suffered defeats, leaders Easingwold Town conceded a goal in each half as they lost 2-1 at Tadcaster Magnets, Myles Clegg hit the opener for the hosts with Dan Phillis getting their second and Amotherby lost 3-1 at home to Aviva. A first win in six was confirmed for the Insurance side with two goals from Joe Broughton and one from Dave Butchart, George Everatt pulled a goal back for Amotherby. A goal each for Daniel Tinghe and Harry Hewson ensured that York St Johns went into the interval on level terms with visitors White Horse but Adam Beavers,  who scored twice in the first half for the Church Fenton side,  did likewise in the second  as White Horse won 5-2, Oliver Sykes added their fifth. 

Selby RSSC suffered their first home defeat in 14 games as they lost 3-2 to local rivals Thorpe in Reserve C.

No change at the top of Reserve D as the top five sides all recorded wins. Leaders Crayke made it 5 wins from 5 as they defeated St Clements 4-1, a Matty Bilham strike separated the sides at the break but second half goals from Kieran Saye, Alan Boyd and a second for Bilham   saw Crayke into a comfortable lead before Josh Johnson hit the goal of the game as a consolation for the Saints. Second placed Civil Service maintained their 100% record as they hit three goals in the final eight minutes to turnaround a 2-1 deficit into a 4-2 win. Sub Ben Holding came off the bench to lead the revival with two of their goals which was supplemented with an own goal. After a goal less opening half Mark Lund had given Civil Service the lead but Tom Ellwood restored parity and with ten minutes to go Joe White must have thought he had hit the winner for Cliffe but he had not bargained for Holding! Craig Hardcastle hit the only goal of the game as third placed F1Racing won 1-0 at Bishop Wilton, the hosts rattled the upright and the cross bar twice in search of an equaliser. Fourth placed Rufforth trailed to goals from James Walton and Matt Walker at the break in their home encounter with Wheldrake but two second half goals each from Tom Bateson and Lee Jefferson saw Rufforth to a 4-3 win, Jack Redmond snatched a late goal for the visitors.

Tadcaster Town trailed three times at home to Huby before eventually winning 5-4 with goals from Keith Hunter and a brace each for Will Leatt and Lewis Chipchase.
